Murthy Nukala

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Murthy is a veteran leader of innovative, technology-driven businesses. He was the founder of Digital Jones which was acquired by Shopping.com, a $130 million company that was the best performing IPO of 2004. At Shopping.com, he held the position of senior vice president of enterprise products overseeing the company’s strategic initiatives and businesses in that area. Murthy has also been in management positions at Composite Software and at Sand Hill Group where he guided the firm’s technology research agendas and investments.

Murthy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras; a Master’s degree in Engineering from M.I.T; and a Master’s in Business Administration from Harvard University.

Richard Chatwin

Richard Chatwin

Vice President, Research

Richard is a recognized expert in the field of optimization science as it applies to a range of industries including natural resources, transportation, and the Internet. Over the past 15 years, he has been chief scientist at Delphinity and Paramark, two early pioneers in the optimization of online advertising campaigns with clients such as JP Morgan Chase, Capital One, and Ogilvy Interactive. Richard also worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Applied Decision Analysis where he pioneered the development and implementation of real option valuation methodologies for asset valuation.

Richard holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mathematics from Cambridge University and a Ph.D. in Operations Research from Stanford University.

Rahoul Seth

Chief Financial Officer

Rahoul has over 30 years experience in Finance and Operations with both large enterprises and venture capital backed companies. Rahoul has been the CFO at a number of companies including Adteractive, Transera, Right Hemisphere Inc, Telera Inc. (acquired by Alcatel), Sentient Networks (acquired by Cisco Systems), and Abekas (acquired by Scitex Corp). Prior to working with early stage companies, Rahoul held a number of senior, operational, financial, and international business development positions with both Raychem and Corning Inc. in the United States and United Kingdom.

Rahoul earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Delhi University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Harvard University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in the United Kingdom.

Chander Sarna

Chander Sarna

Senior Vice President, Engineering

Chander has over 25 years of experience delivering high-performing, mission-critical software solutions for enterprise and consumer-oriented businesses. As CTO of Friendster, he was instrumental in driving the company’s website ranking. Chander has also been VP of Engineering at Greenlight.com and held key engineering roles at Siebel Systems, Netscape, Borland, Tandem and Intel.

Chander holds a Master of Computer Science from SUNY Stony Brook; Master of Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic; and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani.

Anurag Wadehra

Senior Vice President, Product & Marketing

Anurag is a seasoned business executive with experience in marketing, product management and new product launches at both enterprise software companies and the major brand advertisers. He recently led marketing and product management at Siperian, a data integration company targeting Fortune 500 companies. Earlier, Anurag served as founder/CEO of Chingari, a software company for managing consumer feedback and held product management positions at supply chain software firm i2 Technologies. Anurag also worked for many years as brand manager at Procter & Gamble and Kraft Foods.

Anurag holds an MBA from University of Chicago and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Thi Thumasathit

Vice President, New Business

Thi is an online advertising veteran with experience in comparison shopping, lead generation, and interactive marketing. Prior to Adchemy, he was the director of product management at NexTag, where he was responsible for all lead generation services. Thi was a co-founder of AdKnowledge, an online advertising pioneer that was sold to CMGI in 2000 for $200 million. He has held positions at eHealth, ShoppingList.com, and McKinsey & Company.

Thi earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania; a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science from the school of engineering at the University of Pennsylvania; and a Master’s in Business Administration from Stanford University.

Ian Epstein

Vice President, Sales

Ian has over 25 years experience managing sales teams on a global basis for media companies and software-as-a-service solutions targeted to performance and brand marketers. Prior to Adchemy, he worked as vice president of sales for Coremetrics in search applications and services, where he was responsible for expanding product offerings into the Internet Retail 500 and Fortune 500. Recognized as a thought leader in PPC program management, Ian has spoken at key industry events. He also worked as vice president of sales for Digital Impact, an Acxiom company.

Ian earned his Bachelor’s degree from Colorado College.

Philipp Stauffer

Philipp Stauffer

Vice President, Strategic Accounts and Client Services

Philipp has over 15 years of strategic marketing and sales experience developing product and service concepts for leading global companies in the technology, software, digital media and digital advertising space. Prior to Adchemy, he was a Partner and thought leader in convergent technologies with Accenture. His experience includes strategic and transformational marketing initiatives for Fortune 500 companies as well as smaller growth companies with a focus on communications and high-tech industries. Philipp worked at both Interpublic (IPG) and Futurebrand, working with global 50 brands in Europe, the Americas and Asia. He was a co-founder at Prinova Inc., Switzerland.

Philipp earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Economics and Marketing from the University of Applied Sciences in Zurich, Switzerland. He also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Scott Tavenner

Vice President, Business Development – Actions

Scott is a distinguished business development executive with over 15 years experience in sales and management with early stage companies. Prior to Adchemy, he was vice president of business development at Nebuad, where he managed strategic partnerships, media acquisition and new business initiatives. Scott also worked as vice president of business development for Turn and director of business development for Claria.

Scott holds both a Bachelor’s degree and MBA from the University of Southern California, where he concentrated on finance, entrepreneurship and marketing.

Mike Miller

Vice President, Sales – Actions

Mike is an online advertising industry veteran and early pioneer in performance and behavioral advertising with nearly two decades of experience in sales, marketing and business development. He has directed successful marketing campaigns for Expedia, University of Phoenix, NexTag, Experian, Microsoft, T-Mobile and Nike, as well as leading advertising agencies such as Avenue A, Modem Media, Carat, MediaEdge and OMD. Mike has spent the past 10 years building successful sales and business development teams at leading online advertising companies such as Aptimus (NASDAQ: APTM), Excite@Home, Claria and Offerpal Media.

Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of the Pacific and an MBA in Marketing from Santa Clara University.
